The strength of this tour is its immediacy: your experience begins right at Orio al Serio, at our HUB at Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY). No transfers, no downtime: hop in the saddle the moment you land and let history guide you.

The route follows one of the most scenic itineraries across the Bergamo plains, along the course of the Serio River, through lush natural landscapes, cultivated countryside and authentic views that tell the centuries-old story of the bond between water, agriculture and the history of the area.

The beating heart of the itinerary is Malpaga Castle, one of Lombardy's most representative historic residences. Its walls preserve the charm of 15th-century court life and are inseparably linked to the famous condottiero Bartolomeo Colleoni. Under his rule, the Castle became a lively cultural hub and hosted illustrious guests such as King Christian I of Denmark: today its frescoed halls still offer an extraordinary journey through the areas historical and artistic memory.

Inside the medieval village is the Locanda dei Nobili Viaggiatori, where Bergamo tradition meets a passion for quality and creativity in the kitchen: simple dishes inspired by old recipes alongside more refined options, always highlighting local ingredients. You can dine in the indoor rooms, among exposed stone and an old-world atmosphere, or outdoors with a view of the Castle.

You will be accompanied throughout the route by a Professional Cycling Guide, who, besides ensuring safety and support, will share the landscape and historical curiosities along the banks of the Serio.

N.B: The starting and ending point can be selected at the time of booking between Orio al Serio Airport or ChorusLife.
